1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Kanji Masuta ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2 Description of Service

Kanji Masuta is a Japanese Kanji learning app offering flashcards, quizzes, and spaced-repetition (FSRS) review organized by JLPT levels (N5 to N1). A free version supported by advertising and an optional paid premium subscription (ad-free, full access) are available. Internet connectivity may be required for some features.

3 Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

Premium is sold as an auto-renewable subscription. PAYMENT WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR APPLE ID OR GOOGLE ACCOUNT AT CONFIRMATION OF PURCHASE. THE SUBSCRIPTION AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS UNLESS AUTO-RENEW IS TURNED OFF AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE THE END OF THE CURRENT PERIOD. YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE CHARGED FOR RENEWAL WITHIN 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE END OF THE CURRENT PERIOD AT THE PRICE OF THE CHOSEN PLAN. Prices may vary by country and are shown at the point of sale.

4 How to Cancel

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your device account settings.
iOS: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Kanji Masuta → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Kanji Masuta → Cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.

5 Free Trial and Refunds

Any free trial period is provided once per user account at the discretion of the app store. If offered, the trial converts into a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies: iOS — https://reportaproblem.apple.com; Android — https://play.google.com/store/account. To the extent permitted by law, we do not issue direct refunds.

6 Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use

All content in the App (text, graphics, illustrations, interface, source code, question banks) is owned by BnB Studio or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the App. Use the App only for lawful personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

7 Third-Party Services and Advertising

The App uses Google Firebase (analytics and crash reporting), Google AdMob (ads in the free version), and RevenueCat (subscription management). Their processing of data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The free version displays advertisements; upgrading to premium removes all in-app ads.

8 Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that learning results will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BnB Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or progress arising from your use of the App.

9 Notice Regarding Apple

For Apple App Store users: these Terms are between you and BnB Studio only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

10 Changes, Governing Law and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted within the App and take effect 30 days after posting unless a shorter period is required by law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Vietnam.
